CCTV (or Closed Circuit Television) is rapidly becoming one of the most effective ways to secure an area and provide around the clock coverage. Changes in technology in recent years make implementing a CCTV System much more affordable. You will find a CCTV Surveillance System present wherever you go these days, from your local supermarket or milk bar, the local tavern, right through to sporting complexes, major shopping centres, train stations and car parks.
CCTV Cameras are installed in various locations and are generally installed for a number of reasons including:
Monitored Alarms can tailor a CCTV Solution for your premises that can provide as little or as much coverage as you require. From a single camera to monitor an entry point, to a comprehensive multi camera surveillance system, Monitored Alarms has the experience and ability to secure your site with minimal disturbance to your day to day operations.
Digital Video Recorders
Imagine having the ability to view live images of your site, from anywhere in the world. Monitored Alarms can make this a reality by installing one of many Digital Video Recording Systems available on the market today. Most of the systems we use, have the ability to have several weeks or months of recording history and have features such as recording on movement only, 24 hour time lapse, or scheduled recording.
Have you considered that not all cameras are the same? Let Monitored Alarms discuss with you the options you have available when selecting your cameras. Some common questions to ask when deciding on what cameras to use are:
Is the camera required to record at night time or in low light conditions?
Is the camera going to be installed externally, or out in the weather? (dust, rain, sunlight)
Do you require a general coverage of an area or a specific area (entry door, high risk stock, dangerous goods)
Do you need the ability to zoom in and out, or to pan / tilt the camera?
Will Standard Resolution Cameras or High Resolution Cameras be required?
Will you require colour, or black and white cameras?
Remote CCTV Monitoring - NEW!
Advancement in technology recently has allowed Monitored Alarms the opportunity to offer its clients with the option to have their CCTV System "monitored" back to base. Not only can you have "Monitored Alarms" but you can now have Monitored CCTV!
With careful design and planning of your new CCTV System, we can offer our clients the option to replace their existing Physical Guard or Patrol Service, or even reduce the number of hours required with the potential to save many thousands of dollars per year.
Alarm Zones can be "mapped" to a particular camera, so that when a signal from your alarm system is received, an image will appear at our monitoring centre which will allow the operator to identify the cause of the alarm.
